The St Guido Cycle Route

Comune di Codigoro

The Cammino di San Guido is a circular route that runs between the Po di Volano, an ancient branch of the delta, and the Po di Goro, the southernmost arm of the present-day delta. This significant natural environment covers much of the Antica Insula Pomposiana, a vast area that once included all the lands owned by or belonging to the Benedictine Abbey of Pomposa, one of the most important centres of spirituality and culture in the Middle Ages. The cycle tour is organised by FIAB Pedale Stanco, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Ferrara-Comacchio, and is being held to mark the celebrations for the millennium of the reconsecration of the Church of Santa Maria di Pomposa (1026–2026).

Events may be subject to change, always contact organizers before going to the venue.
